Sunbury developer backs land tax change, Sunbury Leader, 13th April 2010
A DEVELOPER with 268 hectares of land in Sunbury has welcomed the State Government's bid to resurrect the Growth Area Infrastructure Contribution and extend the town's urban growth boundary.
**Of course this developer is happy with the resurrected GAIC. As a developer who already owns land within the proposed UGB he doesn't have to pay any GAIC until he developers the land and is granted a certificate of compliance. This was also the case under the previous, defeated proposal. Please leave your comments at the Leader website at the link above.**
