It is believed agreement between the two major parties to introduce the new tax - estimated to raise $2 billion over 20 years - has been reached and details are being finalised after secret negotiations.

Secret deals done between politians, & bugger the rest of us! Yeah, wonderful small land holders are exempt, but I thought that our fight was for ALL land holders NO MATTER THE SIZE OF YOUR LAND!! YES you've guessed it I am one of those in the lower percent that missed out!! I feel gutted at today's news! What the HELL HAVE I BEEN WORKING FOR THE LAST 30YRS!!
