Dear Taxed Out member,

The Growth Area Infrastructure Contribution (GAIC) has been passed by the Upper House of Parliament and consequently a GAIC will apply to land zoned Urban Growth Zone within Melbourne's Urban Growth Boundary.

Before the GAIC can apply to land within the Investigation Areas, Planning Scheme Amendment VC67 must pass through both houses of Parliament. The bill has now been tabled in Parliament and this process will commence soon ...
