Taxed Out members were in Parliament today to witness the parliament approve the Urban Growth Boundary expansion. Some members will be pleased and others will be disappointed.
All agree however that the insidious GAIC tax should be levied when land is developed rather than sold. You can expect further announcements on this issue in coming weeks.
Now the boundary has moved all landowners in the UGB will have a Land Tax Notice registered on their title, even those under 2.023 who thought they were totally exempt.
I urge you to help yourself and your neighbours by volunteering to assist in the McEwen pre polling that starts next week. Contact your committee to find out what you can do.

You can send a message to both State and Federal Labor by helping members of Taxed Out who live in the marginal seat of McEwen.
No government should get away with or stand by and allow land owners to be dispossessed of their property rights.

This state can no longer afford to carry this farce they call a government.
“The Greens Political Party has not achieved a single thing while holding the balance of power in the Upper House for the last four years."
What a crock from Madden's media release. What about the Select Committee on Train Services, which investigated why LABOR's train system crashed in January 2009? As of last Tuesday's farce, it's looking even more necessary...
