A message from the Chairman

24th May 2011

Dear Taxed Out members,

It has been a while since our last update and many of you are understandably concerned about the timing and content of the Coalition's Planning Policy to have the full GAIC payable when land is developed.

We understand the proposed changes to the legislation are due shortly however at this point the details are not available.

The Taxed Out committee have a meeting scheduled with the Planning Minister shortly and we expect to provide you with an update after the meeting.

I understand the GAA anticipate changes to the GAIC in coming months and there is no evidence to suggest that this will not be the case.

I urge you to be patient and wait to see what developments take place over the next few months.

Regards

Michael Hocking
Chairman of Taxed Out Inc.

Thank you for the update. A few people have been asking me what is going on and has the main issue of having it removed off our titles been concluded?

I hope the Minister does not misinterpret our patience for complacency. This issue is a raw as ever.

Regards
Michael

MATTHEW cant even get His so called frame work plane up I belive it will take up to a year FOR THAT TO BE sign of by MATTHEW So bye delaying the frame work plane it is costing land owners money How will he go when they extend the growth boundary Good GOD Matthew what are you thinking
peter  - framework   |144.131.13.xxx |2011-05-30 00:26:54
Hi I just spoke to someone today from the GAA he told me the framework plan has been done but it is now in the hands of the government to sign off on it but that may take up one or two months or even up to a year before it is finalised. What is the problem? The goverment should have signed off by now. You would think, it would've been finished if it was due in March. Come on Matthew, do your job.

Well Stephen for all your negativity we have actually won our fight..the Liberals have literally come to the party and the GAIC is where it should be. To all those that fought side by side CONGRATULATIONS..to all those that said it couldnt be done...never underestimate the power of positive thinking and people with missions. Congratulations to all landowners affected by the insidious LABOR government and my commiserations especially to Don...next time listen to the community you are meant to represent!!!!
