Dear Taxed Out members,

It has been a while since our last update and many of you are understandably concerned about the timing and content of the Coalition's Planning Policy to have the full GAIC payable when land is developed.

We understand the proposed changes to the legislation are due shortly however at this point the details are not available.

The Taxed Out committee have a meeting scheduled with the Planning Minister shortly and we expect to provide you with an update after the meeting.

I understand the GAA anticipate changes to the GAIC in coming months and there is no evidence to suggest that this will not be the case.

I urge you to be patient and wait to see what developments take place over the next few months.

peter  - framework   |144.131.13.xxx |2011-05-30 00:26:54 Hi I just spoke to someone today from the GAA he told me the framework plan has been done but it is now in the hands of the government to sign off on it but that may take up one or two months or even up to a year before it is finalised.
